Experience: She works at the University Center of General and Oncological Dermatology of the University Clinical Hospital at ul. Borowska in Wrocław. Dr. n.med. Małgorzata Ponikowska is also an assistant professor at the Department and Clinic of Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology of the Piast Silesian Medical University in Wrocław.

She completed her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Postgraduate Education of the same university, and in 2020 she defended her doctoral thesis in the field of dermatology with distinction.

She has many years of clinical experience gained through work at the dermatology department, which allows her to combine medical practice with an approach based on current scientific knowledge.

Treatment

Treatment: On a daily basis, he deals with the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases, including inflammatory and autoimmune diseases and skin cancers. She consults on atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne, seborrheic dermatitis, alopecia, sexually transmitted diseases, vitiligo, rosacea, fungal skin diseases, bacterial skin diseases.

Training and scientific works: She is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications of national and international scope, as well as the co-author of monographs in the field of dermatology and skin immunology.

She actively participates in national and international scientific conferences, congresses and training courses, constantly expanding her knowledge and professional competences. She is involved in preventive and social activities – she participates in nationwide campaigns for early detection of skin cancers and promotion of dermatological health.

Other: From the beginning of her professional career she has actively participated in teaching activities – she conducts classes for students of the Faculty of Medicine, Medicine and Dentistry.
