Experience: Obtained the title of medical specialist in Radiology and Imaging Diagnostics in 2009 (specialization at the Miedziowe Centrum Zdrowia w Lubin).
Coordinator of breast imaging diagnostics at the Provincial Specialist Hospital (WSS) in Wrocław since 2018 (coordinates the work of radiologists performing breast imaging tests, radiology technicians and registration and patient contact staff at the Center for Diagnostics and Treatment of Breast Diseases, which is part of the Center for Prevention, Diagnostics and Cancer Therapy WSS, supervises tests and consults patients from Hospital Departments including the Emergency Department, Oncology Outpatient Clinic, Surgical Oncology Outpatient Clinic, Gynecological Oncology Outpatient Clinic and Gynecology and Obstetrics Outpatient Clinic). Additionally, coordinator of the Population Early Detection of Breast Cancer Program at WSS since 2019.
At WSS, she performs and describes diagnostic breast imaging tests on referrals from doctors, including: breast ultrasound, classical mammography and tomosynthesis. Describes screening mammography in the Early Breast Cancer Detection Program and performs and describes in-depth diagnostic tests under this Program (in-depth breast ultrasound, targeted mammographic images, tomosynthesis mammography, spectral mammography with contrast – CESM, vacuum-assisted core biopsy of the breast under mammography guidance – SBM).
Teleradiologically, for selected centers, she describes breast examinations performed using the magnetic resonance imaging method.
Treatment
Diagnostics: At Ginemedica since 2018. performs breast ultrasound:
- women of all ages, including during pregnancy, during lactation and after surgical procedures (after biopsies, after removal of lesions in conservation surgery, after mastectomies, after the introduction of implants for oncological or aesthetic reasons, breast reduction and breast plastic surgery),
- men,
- children from the newborn period,
- girls and boys during puberty upon request/referral from pediatricians, family doctors, endocrinologists, gynecologists, oncologists.
Conducts radiological consultations including breast ultrasound (collecting results from breast imaging tests in order to issue a radiological diagnosis or plan further diagnostics before or during treatment).
She works closely with oncologists/gynecologists/endocrinologists/geneticists and other doctors at Ginemedica, WSS and other centers in Poland and abroad, if necessary.
Training and scientific works
Training and scientific work: She systematically improves her education by taking part in courses, workshops, meetings and conferences of EUSOBI, EUSOMA and interdisciplinary meetings in Poland as a participant and observer (including Oncology and Plastics Congresses in Poznań, PTCHO).
Membership: Member of the European Society of Breast Imaging (EUSOBI).
Other: She likes research, likes helping doctors diagnose, but what he values most in his work is direct contact with patients.
