Treatment

Treatment: For over 25 years he has been working with people with diabetes, thyroid disease and other endocrine disorders, in recent years focusing particularly on the treatment of obesity and co-occurring metabolic and hormonal disorders.

At Ginemedica, she consults adults in the context of:

• gestational diabetes – diagnosis and treatment during pregnancy, observation and treatment after pregnancy

Training and scientific works

Training and scientific work: She constantly improves her qualifications by taking part in industry training and conferences. For many years she has been conducting training and lectures in the field of diabetology and endocrinology for doctors, nurses and people with diabetes. As a member of the PTD, she is a frequent lecturer at Diabetes Conferences, annual PTD Congresses. 

She is the author of 10 scientific publications, one of the works was presented during the EASD Congress in Rome in 2008. 

Membership: Actively involved in co-creating the Lower Silesian Branch of the Polish Diabetes Association in 1998, initially as the Secretary of the Branch, Vice-Chairman, and then the Chairwoman of the Branch in two terms: 2011-2015 and 2015-2019; Long-time member of the Wrocław Branch of the Polish Society for the Study of Diabetes and EASD European Association for the Study of Diabetes since 1995.

Other: In the years 2003-2015 she participated as the principal investigator in 11 clinical trials in the field of diabetology – including those involving short- and long-acting analogue insulins, new molecules in the treatment of type 2 diabetes: SGLT-2 inhibitors, DPP-4 inhibitors, GLP-1 analogues and new drugs in the treatment of lipid disorders – PCSK-2 inhibitors.
