Experience: Since 2004 he has been working in the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department of the Provincial Hospital Centre in Jelenia Góra. He has several years of experience in consulting high-risk patients in the Prenatal Testing Programme in Lower Silesia.

Treatment

Treatment: Pregnancy issues are particularly close to his heart, and prenatal diagnosis and ultrasonography are not only an important part of his daily professional work, but one of his passions. His interests and undisguised professional love are endoscopic surgery (laparoscopy).

Training and scientific works

Training and research papers: The high quality of the examinations performed is guaranteed by numerous completed courses (national and international) in the fields of fetal malformations diagnosis, multifetal pregnancy, fetal echocardiography, advanced Doppler techniques in obstetrics and gynaecology and successive FMF audits, which have been successfully completed for several years, in the field of fetal examinations between 11+0 and 13+6 weeks of pregnancy. The culmination of his interests was his doctoral dissertation on the assessment of the maternal and fetal circulatory system in cases of pregnancy complicated by hypertension (2008) and his accreditation by The Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF)-the most important European institution certifying and supervising specialists in prenatal diagnosis. Lecturer and co-leader of practical workshops in conferences and courses on fetal echocardiography, prenatal diagnosis and perinatology.

Membership: He is a member of, among others, the Prenatal Diagnostics Section of the Polish Society of Gynaecologists and Obstetricians (board member) and ISUOG (International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology). Participant in the LapGyn Programme.

Other: His interest in prenatal cardiology has been culminated in a certificate of skill in fetal heart examination from the Section of Echocardiography and Prenatal Cardiology of the Polish Ultrasound Society. He holds certificates of skills from the Ultrasonography Section of the Polish Gynaecological Society in Prenatal Diagnosis and Fetal Heart Examination and licenses from the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) for ultrasound examinations of the fetus between 11 and 14 weeks of pregnancy, 20-22 weeks of pregnancy, fetal heart examinations or Doppler examinations in pregnancy.
