Training and scientific works
Scientific and Professional Achievements: Dr. Szczepański is a renowned lecturer and educator in the field of clinical ultrasonography. He teaches in Poland and across Europe. In 2018, he was the first in Poland, and the second in Europe, to conduct a course in skin and integument ultrasound. This was followed in 2025 by the first international “Interdisciplinary Skin and Integument Ultrasound Course” in Poland, conducted in English. In 2024, he was the first in Poland to conduct a course dedicated to the groundbreaking use of multiparametric ultrasound (MPUS) in the diagnosis of abdominal organs.
Dr. Szczepański’s professional achievements include the introduction of pioneering modern diagnostic methods in Poland, such as: radiation-free R.E.M.S. densitometry for osteoporosis prevention in 2016; Contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) in 2022. He was the first in Poland to perform intraoperative CEUS during kidney-sparing surgery for a kidney tumor at the Marciniak Lower Silesian Hospital in Wrocław. He is also currently conducting pioneering research on the functional assessment of organs using multiparametric ultrasonography (MPUS).
He has delivered a series of innovative presentations at renowned Polish medical conferences:
• “Use of Ultrasound in Dermatology and Aesthetic Medicine,” Innovative Academy of Aesthetic Dermatology in Sopot, 2022;
• “Multimodal Assessment of Abdominal Organs in Ultrasound Using CEUS, Elastography, Microvascularization Mode, and Doppler,” Congress of the Polish Medical Society of Radiology in Wrocław, 2023;
• “Use of CEUS in Outpatient Practice,” Conference of the Polish Society of Ultrasound in Bydgoszcz, 2023;
• “Spectrum of Contrast Enhanced Ultrasound Utilization,” Contrast Ultrasound Conference in Gorzów Wielkopolski, 2024;
• “Application of Integument Ultrasound in Surgery,” Breast Cancer, Oncology, and Plastic Surgery Conference in Poznań, 2024;
