Experience

Specialisation: Specialist in orthopaedics and musculoskeletal traumatology.

Experience: Graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at the Medical University of Wrocław. In 2019. obtained a specialisation in orthopaedics and traumatology of the musculoskeletal system. He gained practical and theoretical experience while working in the Trauma and Orthopaedic Department of St. Jadwiga Śląska Hospital in Trzebnica from 2012 to 2020. From 2021 to 2023, he served as a senior assistant in the Orthopaedic Department of the MSWiA Hospital in Wrocław, where he performed knee and hip alloplasty and arthroscopic procedures. He honed his skills during an internship in paediatric orthopaedics at the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology of the Jan Mikulicz – Radecki University Clinical Hospital in Wrocław, performing hip ultrasound screening in newborns in 2015-2016. Since then, he has examined many thousands of children. He also expanded his knowledge of paediatric orthopaedics during his internship at the CMKP Adam Grucy Hospital in Otwock – a centre with the highest level of reference in the country.

Treatment

Treatment:Treats both adults and children/young people. Treats: 

  • operational,
  • correction of valgus foot in adults and children using a minimally invasive method (Hyprocure implant),
  • hip, knee endoprosthesis,
  • Arthoscopy of the knee joint, cruciate ligament reconstruction, meniscus repair, reconstruction of the ligamentous apparatus of the patella,
  • collateral ligaments of the knee,foot and ankle surgery,
  • hallux valgus toe, hammer toe, stiff toe, ankle joint instability, tendon injuries of the fibular muscles,
  • snapping/jointed hip by a minimally invasive method,
  • treatment of fractures, complications of fusion,
  • treatment of large tendon injuries (e.g. Achilles, biceps tendon rupture, shin muscle tendon injuries),
  • orthopaedic consultations for adults and children,
  • Hip joint ultrasound of children, diagnosis for hip dysplasia,
  • treatments with hyaluronic acid and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) for conditions such as tennis/golfers’ elbow, other enthesopathies, degenerative joint changes, chondromalacia,
  • selection of orthopaedic supplies, plaster immobilisation,
  • Ultrasound of the knee, shoulder, ankle, elbow and other joints.

Main area of interest: His main area of interest is orthopaedic surgery of the lower limb – including the hip joint, trauma surgery of the musculoskeletal system – upper and lower limb.

Training and scientific works

Training and research papers: He expands her knowledge by participating in courses and trainings organised by centres with the highest level of reference throughout the country and abroad.

Other: He holds a certificate of completion of a course in hip ultrasound using the Graf method. He is one of the few orthopaedic surgeons in Lower Silesia to successfully apply the innovative method of tarsal valgus correction (flat foot), using the HyProCure implant, also combining it with other procedures in complex foot deformities.
