Specialization: In the course of specialization in dermatology and venereology. Certification in psychodermatology.

Experience: Doctor, employed at the Department of Dermatology, Venereology and Allergology of the Medical University of Piastów Śląskich in Wrocław at a research and teaching position, where she also conducts specialization training in the same field. In 2022, she defended with honors her doctoral thesis on chronic skin pruritus in diabetes.

She is a laureate and scholarship holder of many awards and grants, e.g. the prestigious scholarship Otto Braun-Falco, as part of which she completed an internship at the university hospital in Münster (Germany), where she gained experience in the treatment of skin itching and worked scientifically. A year later, she received a Scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to continue her research work. In 2022, she won the Award of the Main Board of the Polish Dermatological Society for the best scientific publication and won the 1st place in the competition for the best clinical work during the meeting of the Young Forum of the Polish Dermatological Society.

Main area of ​​interest: Since the beginning of his work, she has been particularly interested in early detection of skin cancer – she performs dermatoscopic and video dermatoscopic examinations and removes skin lesions. In 2023, thanks to the scholarship of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, she completed a training in the field of dermatoscopy and confocal microscopy at the Dermatology Clinic in Naples with prof. G. Argenziano (Italy), founder of the World Dermatoscopy Society, expert in the field. She is active in the Polish Dermatoscopy Group, she is also a co-organizer of the scientific conference “Dermoscopy Insights”. For years, she has also been participating in local and nationwide campaigns for early detection of melanoma.

In 2021, she received a diploma in psychodermatology from the European Society of Dermatology and Psychiatry (ESDaP). She also gained clinical experience during internships in other European centers, e.g. in the Czech Republic, Germany and Portugal.

In addition to clinical dermatology, she is also interested in anti-aging medicine. Her favorite treatments include those using high-energy lasers.

Trainings and scientific works: Author and co-author of over 30 scientific papers in Poland and abroad (publications in the field of pruritus, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, acne, skin tumors, dermatoscopy, psychodermatology). She participates in national and international research projects. She regularly expands her knowledge by participating in conferences and courses in the field of dermatology, dermatoscopy and aesthetic dermatology in Poland and at international congresses. She also completed post-graduate studies in the design, implementation and management of clinical trials.

  • International Society of Dermatology (ISD) – member of the Committee for Social Dermatology
  • Polish Dermatoscopy Group – member of the Committee for Scientific Research

In addition, she belongs to the following scientific societies: European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, World Dermoscopy Society, Hidradenitis Suppurativa Foundation, European Laser and Energy Devices Society, Women Dermatological Society.

Other: She completed a course for doctors in the field of equal treatment of the Trans-Fuzja Foundation.

Privately, she likes handicrafts (especially ceramics and painting), long walks with her dog, discovering new places and learning.
